O.K So, I got adorable Hair-do from Sweet and Sassy. It is a store in our mall that does girls hair, nails, birthday Parties, exc. But it's a really cool place. One day just my mom and I were out and I decided it would be cool to get my hair done professionally. So this is what they did to me...I'm also quite sure most of tou already know how to do this.

So, She started with kind-of a zig-zag part down the middle of my head.

Then, she put it into high pigtails and split it into thirds. Then twisted one strand all the way up until it scrunched itself up. Then she bobby pinned the end the my head. After she was done with it all she she used a comb to scrunch up the little pieces of hair left over. I will really try to post a video for this one!

Then this is the front view...see the cool little flower? I got that from justice and I absolutely love it in front of one of the buns...it makes it look so much more springy~!

Ponies into side pony!

This one is really cute! I think I got it from babes in hairland...but if not please correct me. Anyway this is one of my favorite Hair-dos!!!

This is the first step, part the hair on the side and put in a ponytail. Then pull the rest of the hair back into another ponytail.

Then, put another ponytail on the other side of the part and then ponytail both side together without pulling in any new hair.

Then pull mostly all the rest of the hair into a ponytail with and the one from up top...this is really hard to explain so just look at the picture for this one.

Then pull it all into one side pony.

Add a cute bow.

this is one that I did to myself one morning when my mom was busy! So I hope you enjoy!

Start with 7 across the top of the head. You can use elastics, they look better, but those break my hair A LOT, so I never use them.

Then, pull 4 from the one side together, then the three from the other side, and be sure to pull hair up from underneath too.

Then I put ponytails all the way down just to add a little extra, but if you don't like this you could always just pull it up or into a little bun. Then, of course, add some curls because no hair-do can be complete without curls:)

Braids, Braids,and More Braids!

So, this hair-do I did on my friend, Ali. I was so proud of myself, because this is the first time I learned how to do normal french braids,not dutch braids, and because I braided upside down!

So, when I was uploading teese pictures, I didn't have them named, so I wasn't sure what order they were going to show up in. this one was supposed to be more towards the end, but anyway, this is the bum!

These are my upside down braids underneath. I only did 2, but for you freakishly good braiders you could do more!

This is the side, I just did one on each side.

This is the top, we did 5 on the top because that was all I could fit. I am not good with small braids.

This is the other side, showing how the angles change from the side to the back,and top to the front.

This one I call Half a Peace Sign because It is a peace sign without the bottom,

This is how you start with the 1 section higher up, then the other 2 a little farther back!

Split the 2 farther back into 2. then pull the one in the middle down into another elastic.

Split the one in the middle into 2. Then pull the ones on the sides into the pigtails.

This is how it ended up. and of course, we added the bows!

For this one instead of the normal one (look above) we pulled up one random pony in between them. Then we just pulled it all into a half ponytail, so below are step by step instructions!

This is the first part. We parted it on the side and went all the way down, we used about 4 elastics on this side.

Then on the other side of the part, we used 2 elastics going down.

Again, this is how it will end up looking. We went out today and I got several complements on it:)

This is how the top looks. We just did a simple strip across.

Then we did a blue strip behind the yellow. We just did this to tie it behind!

This is how we tied it underneath her hair!

This just shows how when she put her hair down, you cannot even see the tie! Also once her hair was down, you couldn't see the blue strip either, so it looked like the yellow just disappears under her hair!

I got this one off of Princess hairstyles, but we made our triangles a little bigger, and ended it in a normal ponytail.

This is how we started. We did 5 little triangular sections.

Then you split each of them in half and braid, or twist, them together!

This is a hair-do that I did to myself, so it can't be that hard right??

This is how I started. I made a part on the side and made two small braids.

This shows the side part.

Then we took the 2 sections and tied them at the bottom.

Then behind that I made two braids.

I pulled those together and made 2 more braids.

I also pulled the other 2 together really close to the first ones.

Then we pulled it all into a pretty bun!

This is how our messy bun turned out. We put the hair into a ponytail, and then wrapped the hair around the ponytail holder and secured it with another ponytail holder.

O.K, so I am finally done with my project, so i should be posting a little bit more often now. It was my birthday this weekend, so I was at my party and really had free time until now! So here you go, I hope you like this hair-do.....(Just F.Y.I I did this to myself and made it up myself....I was very proud.)

This is how you start, with a part on the side, and put 3 ponytails along the part.

Pull the one farthest back down about 1 inch.

Pull the second one down about 2 inches, so double whatever the first one is.

Then, the one closest to the forehead, bring down about to the ear.

Pull those three ends into a braid.

The, on the other side, make a 2 elastic puff braid.

Then pull everything into a ponytail.

So, this is how you start, by putting one ponytail on the top of your head. Then split it in half.

Then pull it down and pull it into 2 ponytails. Take those 2 ponytails straight down, and ponytail them again!

Then, pull it into a low ponytail. This to me kinda looks like a circle, if you made the ponytail a little higher i think it would look more like a circle. And again, this was at the end of the day, after I had, had it in all day, so don't mind the wispy s.

Sorry I have not posted for a while. I have been working on a big project for school, and with the days getting warmer I'm outside a lot more often! But I have found time to post a hair-do here and there so make sure to keep checking back.

So you start with 4 little sections on the top of your head.

Here is the next picture, it shows how to take the 2 ponytails from the right to the left pigtail. Thwn take the ponytails from the left and criss cross them over to the right pigtail!

Sock Bun!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I have this huge language arts project due soon, so I've been working on that. But I have found a tiny bit of time to post this hair-do, so also sorry if the instructions aren't the best!

This is how it turned out!

These are the supplies you'll need: 2 ribbons, sock, scissors, Spray bottle, 2 hair colored ponytails, and bobby pins.

Start by putting the hair into a really high ponytail, or where you want the bun to be at.

Cut a hole in the toe of the sock.

Roll it into a doughnut shape.

Then put it around the ponytail.

The, wrap the hair around the sock (make sure no sock is showing) then secure it with a hair colored ponytail holder.

Take little sections of the hair left hanging down, and wrap it around. Hold it in place with bobby pin.

Keep doing this until you have no hair left hanging down.

Then, tie the 2 ribbons together, It gives it a better look if you have 2 ribbons, then tie the bow, underneath the bun!

Easter braid do

This is the hair-do we did on Easter Sunday. I apologize for not having step by step pictures, It's just that we were in a hurry to get to my grandma's. But this is the hair-do we did.

We started with 3 rectangular parts. Do a french braid on the top, then 2 normal braids on either side. We then pulled them all together into a braid bun, (See picture above)

I got this one from princess hairstyles. Except she did more braids and twists, so I just switched it up a little to make it kinda my own:)

You start off with 5 triangular parts on the top.

Do a french Braid on the top, Then 2 normal braids. Then under those, make 2 french braids.

This shows the braid, and then a french braid under it.

Pull it all into a pony,

Take out the elastics, and make it into a messy bun.

St. Patrick's Day Elastics

For this one, we kindajust turned a normal hair-do into a St. Patrick's Day one.

You will start with an elastic in the middle. Then split that one in half into 2 elastics lower then it. After you have those 2 sections split that in half and take half of it start down, and half of it toward the middle.

this shows how and where to pull the other half into the middle.

Then you will pull the elastics on the side straight down into the pigtail. Then you split the middle one in half and into the pigtails.

Then pull it into messy buns, add some bows and Ta-da!

This is my friend Ali. I love doing my friends hair, so you'll probably be seeing her a lot! Anyway this hairdo I like to call in and out. It just reminds me of what this hairdo looks like!

This is how we started, with a part right down the middle, and 1 elastic towards the front of her head.

You will then split that one in half and pull it into 2 other elastics.

Then you take both of those together again. (See where I get the name in and out?)

We split it up 1 more time and then pulled it into a flipped up bun, But if you want you could continue all the way down.

We did the same thing on the other side.

I got this one from babes in hairland, except she did twists, and I did braids. Anyway though this one is very cute, yet very simple!

Start out with a rectangle on top of the head. Then you will split that into 3 sections.

I started off with a zig zag on the top of my head. Then we did two little ponies, then back into two more little ponies. Then from there we made it into an X!

So, We started off with 2 little sections at the top.

Then Cassidy, My friend who did this to me, braided those 2 sections together.

Since today was a really hot day, we pulled that up into a pony. Than added the ribbons.

Then we decided to add some curls.

Easy Braids

This is my sister. She wanted a nice, cool hairdo. So this is what I did, and surprisingly, she liked it! (She's very picky)

First, we started part on the side. On the side with more hair, we did a french braid.

Then on the side with less hair we did 1 simple braid, (not french braid.)

We pulled both into a messy bun.

This is the side with the simple braid. We pulled it back kinda messy to make it look more natural, She's not the tight and perfect type of girl:)

This is the side with the french braid.

Braided Criss-Cross

This is how the final product of this looks! It took us about 35 minutes to complete!

I also got a complement on this hair do from my brothers. It takes a pretty darn good hair do to get them to like it:)

This is the first step. We made a part right under the ear. (I know this picture is not the best, we are not photographers:))

But then we made 4 parts, and braided them all down!

We then took 2 of the opposite to one pigtail, and the other two to the other pigtail. Really all you do is take one up and one criss crossed!

See? This is how it looks from the front. If you are doing this on younger kids, you could make the pigtails higher up:)

Pulling Braids

So this is my other cousin Natalie. While I was visiting I did her hair too! She has naturally curly hair, so I tried to pull it all in braids so she wouldn't have puffy pigtails!

This is how we started, 5 braids on each side. (can you see the curl?)

Then we pulled them all together! Sorry my pictures are not the best I could not figure out how to get the flash on!

Then I just pulled it into a braid, on each side and ta-da! It will end in 2 braids, but I only got a picture of the one side!

Butterfly

Skills needed: Braids and parting

First you start with 2 little sections. Braid the remaining hair into 2 braids. As you can see in the picture!

Here it shows how you take the 2 braids and take 2 to the inside and 2 to the outside.

This one just shows a better view of the splitting of braids.

Then braid the rest of the little sections left and pull it into a ponytail. We ended up braiding the ponytail, but did not get a picture!

Braid Train

Skills Needed: Braiding

First you start off 2 braids. One in front of the other.

Then you pull the front 2 braids together.

Then pull the second set of braids together, and then add another 3rd braid.

Continue this same thing, then end it in a ponytail!

O.K, So first you have to split the front hair into 4 sections and braid them.

Kinda A Star

This is how you will start. You have 3 sections. You will end up braiding the 2 sections on the sides. Then Split the middle one in half.

After you do that you will pull it into opposite pigtails. This was soooo absolutely not one of my favorites!

Criss-Cross

Double X

Skills needed: Putting in elastics, curling (optional)

This is my other friend Cassidy! She has the thinnest silkiest hair ever, so it was hard to come up with one to do on her! It is also not too long, and she needs one to hold her bangs back because she's trying to grow them out! Anyway, this is the hair-do I came up with!

We started with a part right down the middle. then down both sides we did a little row of puff braids. I had to do this to hold back her bangs, but if the girl you're doing this on does not have bangs you could leave this step out.

We pulled the little puff braids into a small elastic.

Then under the elastic that I pulled the puff braid into, I made another little section.

Then we criss crossed the one from the bottom up, and the one from the top down.

We made the same little row of puff braids on the other side.

The we took the ends from the other x into yet another x. By taking the one from the top down, and the one from the bottom up.

She also has all these layers, so what I did to make them not stick out (the 2 sections being pulled into the side ponytail) was put 3 elastics down them. It also made it look really cute!

See the elastics being pulled into the side pony? And now you also see that it worked really nicely and no pieces are sticking out! YAAA!!

Top view:

Ok, now here is where the optional curling comes in. (See skills needed under title)

We curled the ponytail and added a rainbow of bows, to match her multicolored shirt.

This is a quite simple one actually, but it looks super cute!

So, we started off with just 4 little sections on the top!

Then we took the 2 from the left to another ponytail on the right. Then the same thing on the other side!

Then we did the back. For this part we had the 2 pony tails from the top, then we split both of them into 2 and took one part straight down and the other part across!

We started off with just two sections. We then split it into two braids!Than we took one braid straight down and one braid criss crossed and there you do!

I do not have step by step instructions, but it is pretty self explanatory, but all you do is make 4 sections, then braid them all. Then you take the 2 that are not touching each other, then do that to the other ones and then Ta-Da!!!

This is my cousin, Lauren. She will be on here a couple times. I did this to her hair, and she loved it! It took us about 45 minutes, but it stayed in for 2 days!

This is how we started, It was hard to do step by step instructions because it is just kind of random, but this is how we did the first part!

Boys Dos!

These are my little brothers. They were bugging me about why I only post girls hair-dos. So I am making a "Boy's Dos" section.

Spikes, with thin ,shorter hair!

This is Kuzkid! He has shorter thinner hair then his brother so with this kind of hair you don't need as much gel. But run your fingers through the hair with the gel on them and Ta-Da!

Mohawk!

This is my littlest brother. I'll call him Kuzkid. He is Very crazy and asked for the Mohawk. So I grabbed the gel and spiked up from both sides. I have to admit It turned out pretty cool!

Bangs over!

This is my other brother, PJRulez! He is not really into the hair thing so this is what I got him to let me do. Look below and you will see the bangs in the eyes. I just combed them over, added a little gel and Ta-Da. He looks so Handsome!

Spikes, with longer, thicker hair

This is just spikes. Put some gel on your fingers and brush your fingers through the hair!

For this all you need to do is get gel and spike up those bangs!

Elvis

In our opinion we thought that this looked like Elvis's hair. So we put gel on a brush, pulled the brush through the hair(backwards only) the look at that you have Elvis!

Look at this huge clip my cousin has! This is a picture of it compared to a normal clip! (the pink one is the big one, and no, the brown one is not mini:))

These hairdos are very cool but kinda crazy. Probably not ones you would ware on a regular basis but anyway here they are!

Variation 2

These are the ones I do on my Mom! Here are a couple. Sorry I do not have step by step instructions, Just the ending pictures. I will try to explain them in words though!

Zig-Zag

This one you start with a small part at the top. Then you do not braid it into another section. Then you braid that part down diagonally to the other side. Do not braid that part, then pull up the extra hair into a side ponytail!

Puff Braids into buns!

I did this one by doing 4 elastics on each side. I then made these cute little bun things at the end. It turned out really cute. (as you can see.)

3 Braids into 1!

I call this one 3 braids into 1! First start with a part on the side. Make 2 on the bigger side, then one on the other. After you do that tie them together and braid it the rest of the way down. Of course add a cute bow and Ta-Da! You have a cool hairdo!
